The campus is located in a safe residential neighborhood, just a few minutes North of downtown. Seattle is famous for its high-tech industries, music scene, coffee shops, and shopping districts. There is vibrant arts and music culture in Seattle, as well as numerous restaurants serving diverse and delicious food. Seattle is nestled between Puget Sound and two mountain ranges, and so most people who like here enjoy nature in several ways.


Instructor's Qualifications:

All instructors at A.C.E. at SPU hold MA TESOL degrees and have been teaching for several years. Most faculty and staff at the institute have experience living and teaching abroad, and actively publish and present research at the regional and national level.

Seattle Pacific University is a small private university with an active campus life. Students are involved in many sports and clubs. A.C.E. students spend 20 hours a week in intensive English language class and 4 or more hours in optional elective classes. Students may choose to live with a host family or in campus dorms when available. The Mission at A.C.E. Language Institutes at Seattle Pacific University is to provide students with the language skills, cultural knowledge and experience they need to use English to effectively communicate in academia and the workplace and to provide opportunities for personal growth.
